Binge Eating Disorder: One Woman’s Story

Nancy Anderson Dolan weighed 300 pounds at the age of 30 in 1989 as a result of her binge eating disorder, an eating disorder that affects more people per year than any other. Nancy, who now weighs 158 pounds, shared her story with Fox News.

Binge eating disorder (or BED), is characterized by consistent episodes of compulsive eating even when an individual doesn’t feel hungry. People with BED relate to food on an emotional level rather than a physical one.
