Studies Identify Individuals With Eating and Drinking Problems

While it has yet to earn the rank of an official title, “drunkorexia” is still a potentially fatal condition. It is used to describe those who have eating disorders and then engage in binge drinking. This condition was first reported by the Eating Disorder Center of Denver and evaluated by Emax Health in a recent post.

New, Thinner Barbie Doll May Fuel More Eating Disorders

The already unrealistically thin Barbie doll is becoming even thinner, as designer Christian Louboutin thinks the doll’s ankles are “too fat” and is redesigning a newer, thinner version due out in the US in May. Examiner.com writer Cindy Adams notes that this move may fuel the already rising incidence of eating disorders among women in the U.S. who strive to obtain impossibly thin figures.
